Mark E is a musician who we have been looking forward to dancing to for a while now. Hailing from the UK, Mark E is best known for ‘R&B Drunkie,’ a groovy track that blends some neat samples from Janet Jackson’s ‘R&B Junkie’ with straight up house beats, as well as other gems such as “Call Me‘ and many others.
Mark E’s tempos hover somewhere between 105 and 115bpm creating a perfect environment for those who love getting down to a slow groove on the dancefloor. He also runs his own label, MERC, catering to a sound that is classic and industrial with a tinge of disco warmth. In addition, Mark E is part of the select group of artists at Ghostly International (alongside names like Matthew Dear and Mike Servito) and has released a full-length album, Stone Breaker, as well as various remixes and singles which helped him grab the attention of pop singer Robyn, who has recently mentioned Mark E as one of her influences for her upcoming album.
